First day back at school for my girls, the big event in the house being one of them with her first day at high school. My, that's grown-up. All very smooth and reasonably organized, minimum of fuss all round and when they came home they were both pretty pleased with how it had all gone. Well done them.

Couple of cultural things today  - Daniel Kitson's excellent Polyphony at Summerhall at lunchtime (I'll say no more, the less you know the better although it is extremely sold-out for its run) and then early evening over to The Traverse for Pre:View (new writing - very impressive, some real talent out there).
