My beautiful Cornwall

This photo is of Whitsand Bay which is stunningly beautiful and just over the hill from our house. If only the weather could be like this for a whole summer not just a couple of days here and there. Then I would have no qualms about moving back to the UK, but sadly most of the days that we've been here this summer have been grey and cold.

Never mind at least we managed to do a first coat of snowcem on the garage at my dad's old house plus a final coat of creosote on the side gate and undercoated the garage window. The man comes to measure up for a new garage door tomorrow and I'll finish the snowcem and topcoat the garage window. That will be it for jobs on that house for this year, hope my tenant appreciates it. Next year I'll have to retarmac the drive and that should be that house complete. Unlike our own house which is in dire need of a makeover so that will be the first task for retirement next year.
