During a lull in the siege....
Scarborough Castle, albeit in ruins since the Civil War
of the 17th Century, is never short of sieges. Sealed
Knot, under the auspices of English Heritage, take
care of that ! After the third skirmish of the day with
muskets crackling and cannons booming, historical
accuracy was maintained by the mention of pangs
of hunger striking the Royalists where cannon balls
had failed - conveniently forcing a surrender in time for tea !
