Hollyhock!!

At Easter the Rev gave me a ? plant, he didn't know what this green thing was, nor did I .it started to grow and I duly transplanted it to a larger pot ( I only do pot gardening as I have said many times ) , in due course I realised it WAS a hollyhock , lots of leaves which died as soon as they appeared! But this is what I found today, I haven't been out side much in the last few days,time has eluded me, closer inspection shows there are at least 5 more buds! So there you go patience is a virtue! So thank you Rev. the leaves have been eaten by the slugs / snails but it's a case of live and let live I guess.
