Perfection made in Japan.

Anemone hupehensis, commonly known as Japanese Anemone.

A very welcome plant growing in several places in Knottman's garden. One of its virtues is that it can go on flowering to late September when most other border plants are long over.

But in one bed Yellow Loosestrife has also become established and is driving the Anemone out. Must remove some of the Loosestrife I think.
