Canal Crossing
I spent the morning meeting clients in London - but unfortunately no opportunity for photos, so in the afternoon headed back to the local Lakeside Nature Reserve I found a couple of months ago.
The nearby Basingstoke Canal crosses the Blackwater Valley road (A331) via a purpose built bridge, which is shown here and is just one of the initiatives undertaken when building the road at the end of the 90s. Other examples are the lakes and ponds created in the nature reserve and along the valley to which wildlife disturbed by the road could be relocated.
By the way, my computer monitor problems are finally sorted and I have two working monitors, although some solour calibration may still be required!
