Pigeon love

Cara was non too impressed with me when I put my walking clothes on and leashed up Bruce. Unfortunately she will have to get used to this for a while now. However I did feel sorry for her and left her with a toy with some doggie shapes inside so she had something to work on while we were away! For his part, Bruce was impeccably behaved while we were out!

This afternoon I went to do a shift at the local Town Hall where our art club is holding an exhibition of paintings for the next fortnight. We also have quite a variety of cards for sale and as they are all printed from our original paintings, without any quirky messages inside, they are very individual and have proved quite popular. I have made cards of all my paintings so when the original is sold, I am still able to retain a copy of it as a card.

It was very, very cold sitting in the hall and so I often moved around to keep warm, looking at the paintings and at the view outside. One time I was looking outside I noticed a pair of pigeons on a chimney stack and after a bit of chat they started canoodling, which I managed to catch as my blip, and this then continued to a mating.... which I have spared you as this might be viewed before the watershed! Apologies for the lack of sharp focus but I was not on a rooftop taking this - I was inside, out of the rain and behind glass! However, I am sorry that it is a grey picture on a grey day - I will try and bring you something more colourful tomorrow.
