Loughrigg Tarn

I was keen to leave the car at home today having spent too much time in slow moving traffic this week. I had 2 high level routes in mind but sometime during the night decided to stay low and walk  the 7 miles around Loughrigg, spending some time at the tarn taking photos. The photo session was abandoned due to rain and I was home in time for a mid-morning cuppa. 

The extras I put on blip yesterday were taking a very long time to view so I’ve put a selection of today’s photos on flickr.
