Still Flying

Plenty of insect activity in the country lanes while Amy was riding despite the breezy conditions.  I often see Common Blue Damselflies on my travels so this one caught my eye as being different.  Looking her up when I got home it seems this is a female Common Blue.  I saw four Commas, the most in one walk this summer, a few Gatekeepers (female shown above) and a couple of flighty Holly Blues, the first time I have seen them on my walks here.  As always there were plenty of buzzy things!

On the home front we took delivery of Jacinta's (very early) Birthday present today - A super Summer House.  It will doubtless feature in a future blip ............... tonight I am sitting in it as I write :-)
