Mosaics

Yesterday was so nice and I was at work.  Today I was off, at home, and it rained and rained and rained. We had a quiet morning.  BB got his cello out for the first time in the holidays and did some practice.  Luckily he still remembers what to do.  The boys then disappeared to B&Q for something.  A quick trip they said!

We then headed out with no real plan but headed to Peebles, through awful weather.  We had a late lunch, with TT having the biggest big breakfast imaginable!  We then had a wee wander round the town as the rain was going off.

We came home via a different route and I risked a short walk and managed to stay dry.

Peebles has a very lovely war memorial, with a copper dome and beautiful mosaic inlays.  The extras show a couple of mosaic inlays and the copper dome.
