I love surprises

These photos arrived in the post today.
They were sent by a total stranger. She wrote a letter to accompany the photos. Evidently her late sister and brother-in-law used to live in our house about 30 years ago, for  10 years or so. The lady who sent them was sorting through her sister's belongings and these photos were there, so she wondered if we would like them.
What a kind lady. Some of the photos go back to about 1950 or before, and some are more recent, when the original buildings were being converted from a railway station.
