Flowers in the Rain

Hidcote is always beautiful no matter time of year it is. We decided to have "a day out" today, so we visited the gardens there. 
They never disappoint. In fact, if anything, this year they look better than I've ever seen them.
We arrived fairly early (well before noon at any rate) and managed to get around most of it before the rain really started. When rain stopped play we retired to the tea rooms - where else? It was from our seats under a parasol that we spotted a mother sparrow feeding her young chick. He then found his wings a bit and flew up into the shrubbery.
I didn't know which shot to choose so I've put a few in my "extras" too.
