Newby Kips, from the Frankscroft Rd near Cademuir

A longer ride today, 110km. Its summer. Short sleeve top, shorts and sunglasses!!!

I decided to do a route I'd not done for a while. This shot is from the Cademuir road, just south of Peebles. The hill is Newby Kipps. Not the biggest hill in the area, but the trees in the foreground caught my eye as well

The route was out through Auchendinny, Fala Toll Road, Eddleston, Meldons, Cademuir and Peebles. Back through Traquair, Innerleithen, Granites, Bonnyrigg, Lasswade and Captain's Road.


Not as fast a ride as the Tour O' The Borders, took too many photos, which I  will endeavour to upload as Extra later. Plus I should have taken another bottle of water with me. Nearly have tan lines now.
