Fun at the beach

After persistent rain and thunderstorms the evening gave way to some pleasant dry weather , so I went for a walk with my granddaughter along the beach , and decided we would go to the Beach House for dinner . It's been a few weeks since I've had quality time with her , and we sat and made some plans for places to visit over the coming weeks . We were having such a lovely evening , I didn't realise how late it was when we left and walked after dark along the promenade . We had such fun together , laughing , chatting , taking silly selfies and even had a little dance to the song 'Happy' along the way !
Earlier in the evening I thought I had better take a shot of the pier on my doorstep , being as I intend to resume my pier project in a few weeks . I was leaving the local piers until last , but while we were walking on the sand , I thought it was an opportunity to take a snap of Worthing pier. Another one I can tick off the list ! Many more still to go !
