Wind

A walk around Watergrove to experiment with my new telephoto capacity. It was the worst possible day for it. All the birds seemed to be indoors, sensibly sheltering from the driving rain. I was the only visitor to the bird watchers' hide, from which there was a very pleasant view, uncluttered by any actual ornithology.

The car park at the West Pennine Sailboard Club was fairly full and numerous members were standing around. Only one brave soul seemed to be having a go but he didn't seem to be having much luck. Apparently there was something wrong with the wind.
