Shottery Fields

Having past the play area at Shottery Fields many times in the past, often with Dylan in tow. I finally had a reason to go in there.

Kio had a great time, as well as Noriko and Andrew, trying out the climbing and swinging equipment.

I pointed out the conker tree to Noriko and Andrew and I tried to explain the rules of the game. Understandably she was puzzled by our quaint English tradition, though she was impressed with the tree and the large number of conkers growing on it.

After play we went to meet Ann at Nero where they were queuing out of the door so we moved on to the space and quiet, and comfort, of BHS, it's just a shame the coffee is rubbish.

Home then, via the RSC and Retro shops, where we relaxed prior to me making tea of Frittata and pilau rice served with smoked haddock and jacket potatoes.
