Guess Where I Am?

No, I'm not in a village near chaiselongue, known for her sun and shadow balcony shots, much as I'd like to be -- I took this photo in the heart of downtown Bellingham this morning, before my classes at the Y.

It's a balcony on the second floor of the colorful building that houses Cafe Akroteri, a pleasant Greek restaurant, on the street-level floor, and what looks to be living space above. Click here for a closer look at the decorative items casting those lovely shadows.

(I spent still more time working my way through Panasonic's "customer service" communications today, and came close to "exchanging" my ailing camera for a "factory reconditioned" one, at a cost of nearly $200, but I let the decision rest for a couple of hours, and decided that wasn't a good use of my retirement income. The whole experience was an exercise in frustration and makes me hope that my Panasonic Lumix G-1 never needs any service.)
