The Mighty Hunters

Here they have wrestled the mammoth strawfish almost into submission.  There will be straw for everyone.

It was fun to watch these two fight with the straw.

It was a lot more fun than having to deal with Otto & Hermes.  Sadly the Saga Of The Desk limps on.

After having finally convinced them that I wasn't prepared to wait any longer, and I wasn't going to dismantle the desk and have them send me a new one, they could just take the thing away and give me my money back.  You'd think that would be quite simple. 

You'd be wrong.

I got a letter from Hermes saying that they'd come sometime between 9 and 4 but they'd phone an hour beforehand to let me know they were on their way. 

Bloke turned up at 10 unannounced. 

No problem, we were in, and the desk was taken away. 

Hooray.  The End.

But no.

I've just received a letter from Hermes - terribly sorry about the delay in getting the replacement part to you, but don't worry, they're on the case and the part will be with me as soon as they have it...

That'll be the part for the desk that they took away.  The one I don't want.  The one I still haven't got my money back for.

I fully expect to be sitting here next week with the replacement part, wondering how these people get dressed in the morning.  Oh and I don't expect to get my money back until at least the end of the month.
