A Triffid Perhaps?

My friend has arrived safely and we are catching up with three years of chat and gossip, so little time to blip.  Comments are off, so that I don't feel too guilty about not replying to any.

Visited Branklyn Gardens in Perth today and could have chosen any number of pretty flowers to show you, but decided on this most unusual plant instead.  No name tag, so I've no idea what it is:-)
