Vaguely Marvellous

Reunited

One of the reasons I originally had the idea to go cycle touring while the children was on camp was because I knew I would miss them and thought that an active holiday would distract me from it. I still missed them, perhaps even more than I thought I would, and I am really happy to have us all back together again.

The children have clearly had a wonderful time: they smell of woodsmoke and sing random snatches of songs in between telling us tales of eggy bread, night vigils, naughty Trackers and learning to axe. They both have slightly sunburnt noses (a miracle as they were in Scotland), and I am dreading opening their bags....

The FSC magic continues to weave it's spell on the next generation.

Meanwhile, I am very slowly backblipping our French cycle holiday, if you're interested. But maybe give me a few days to finish it!
