A typical school meal

I think I've blipped this type of photo a while back. 

This is a typical school meal served in Glasgow. I had choices today but this stood out for me.

I think it's amazing that this is the quality and quantity of food given to children for £1.70 per day and for free for those who qualify. With obesity levels so high, and with folk making poor food choices, surely this type of meal is one that should be encouraged to be eaten by young people. 

Good food choices are learned early.
