The Prayers

To be very frank, Yangon is very modern. Although I rarely can use my credit card, everything really makes sense to a severe urban dweller like me.

Except one thing, their pious prayers under the most famous Shwe Dagon pagoda, that still engraved an awe in my mind. The hustle and bustle vanished while we stepped in the pagoda area. Only bell ring, praying rhymes, burning scents and meditation melodies surrounded. It was drizzling and we walked on our purely bare foot. The undefinable peacefulness just occupied your whole mind together with the local praying crowds, naturally.

The candlelights carrying on prayers lit up the the night of my day , even though I knew it was just the 2nd day I have been readying Yangon.
