It All Adds Up !

THE BRUNSVIGA 'A'  Mechanical Calculator. Another exhibit once used in the Old Pumping Station and now in it's Museum of Technology.  In 1878, Swedish engineer W.T. Odhner, invented a calculating machine of the pin wheel and disc type. The German firm Natalis & Co improved it in 1892 and marketed the machine. It became the most popular machine in Europe.
