Bristol

A fine day for driving down to Bristol, where we are staying a few nights to visit our son and to see the Bristol Balloon Fiesta.  I've wanted to come and see this event for some years and never before managed to get here at the right time.  The weather looks promising for the next few days..

We didn't watch any of today's events, though.  After arriving late afternoon,  we enjoyed an excellent meal at The Pony and Trap in Chew Magna this evening.

If I have the energy, I shall get up reasonably early in the morning to watch the 6am launch.
