Poignant reminder

It's been a wet, overcast and dreich day here in Anstruther and I guess this plaque just matches the mood of the moment.

Although I've taken quite a few shots around the harbour with my D7000, my thoughts always returned to this plaque and I wonder how it must have felt to be there on the night.

A bit downbeat I know but what can I say.

Will of course be on the lookout for a more upbeat post tomorrow.
