Times Of My Life

Another One Bites The Dust

And Goodbye to Sunday.

Got up, made bacon rolls for breakfast.  Nephew Taylor and I took the dog for a nice long walk, and then I threw some washing in the machine before he and I headed into town.

We stopped off at Gloagburn Farm-shop on the way for coffee and cake.  I had a flat white and lemon meringue pie, he had hazelnut machiatto and raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake.  He bought some raspberries and strawberries, and home-made coconut macaroon for his Mum as a present.

Dropped him off at home, and I went to visit my Mum, walked her dog, and helped her give it a bath.  Did a bit of shopping, and then came back home to persuade G to clean out the garage again.

It was all lovely when we had his barbecue in June, but since then there has been a stag weekend and a festival, so all the camping stuff just got lashed in and the whole place is a disgrace again.  We got it cleaned out, and I've now got sleeping bags going round and round in the washing machine.

Tea was chicken steaks with new potatoes and petit pois, and a wee glass of red.  Dishes are all done up now,  floor is washed, tea towel hanging up to dry, and I'm on glass no. 2.

Bye bye weekend; why do you always go so fast, and without me having done half the things I meant to do?
