Calton Road

With Pipefest and Fringe Festival and Edinburgh Art Festival and the book festival and.... There was a lot of culture out there today.

Thankfully not too much on Calton Road, although plenty of people beating a path to the culture along it.

I was in town to scout for locations for a possible pop up Cigs exhibition; it seemed fitting that it should be at a favourite Cigs location, so I was checking out the boards around New Street and Calton Road which Cigs has adorned down the years.

That done, I met her, we jumped on bikes and went for a 10 mile ride in what was trying to be a sunny day. (Actually, on the cycle paths with the wind cut out, it was insect hell, I think my protein intact is well up just now.
