View from the Lounge....

I'm a little behind with my blips and that's for a very good reason, so this is a back blip. This was the view from the Aspire Lounge at Manchester airport and gives a little hint as to what I was to see during my recent holiday to Svalbard. A birthday present from my other half for a significant number birthday this year.

We've had no internet for 11 days and it's been just wonderful. 

The tail of the plane was actually for the Channel Islands.

We headed off to Oslo for the first leg of our trip and stayed overnight at a hotel near the airport.
