Car Number 2

Plan was to leave at 4:00AM sharp. Not a civilian 4:00AM sharp. A military 4:00AM sharp. Wheels rolling. And, sure enough, we were moving on the dot of 4:30.

H and I were in Car No 1 (the party car) whilst M piloted Car No 2 with his mum acting as navigator (flat out for three then hard right opening out with adverse camber).

The car didn't make the usual noises (do you have to play the music download?) and H tolerated her dad singing along to the Decemberists and the Wave Pictures.
