Rain Coming

Last night I read the forcast - depression over Ireland arriving over all of England by early evening Friday. At least I think it was the weather forcast - it could have been the Euro 2012 Soccer report.....

Stealing myself now for the England game this evening, been here too often to allow hope to creep in. Beth is back from holiday, mother in law just turned up, I've cooked up some food which will put us in the mood.

First of all to rehearse the answers to those questions the non football watching crowd ask at major championships. "Are England in yellow?", 10mins later " which way are England playing","why isn't Peter Shilton playing? - he use to play for Leicester", "why don't they just shoot", "what's offside?"and a new one and a dead cert for tonight "why aren't Chelsea playing, aren't they the European champions." ......true love knows no limits.
