Bus trip

Attended a workshop with colleagues. 2 hour bus trip each way but for such an inspiring speaker it was worth every minute. I've heard Anthony Semann speak once before and today (just like last time) I had my mouth open in awe the whole time he was speaking. He is very knowledgeable and an amazing advocate for the early childhood industry.
Tomorrow the plan is for a 12 km run (my furthest) so I'm a little nervous. But hopefully one slow step in front of the other will get me there. Someone I'm working with for the next 4 weeks in my prac has been very supportive. She has also come from a non running background and has done 2 half marathons. She was heading out this morning before our bus trip to do "a quick 10k" :) I don't think she really knows how slow I run but what she doesn't know can't hurt anyone :)
