Barbara Castle

Headed off to the pub, for another curry! It was also a fare-thee-well to Wee M.
The inner ringroad in Blackburn is Barbara Castle Way, approached by this (really rather nice) bridge. They're kind of copying Newcastle, I feel.
The road that we are clearing the way for on the dig will run from the end of the bridge and provide an escape route from Blackburn.
I kind of imagine it as being a bit like the final scene of Terry Gilliam's "Brazil"...
