Exploring...

...quite literally as the map I was using was a little out of date! I ended running 20km instead of my planned 12km, not that I minded as the amazing sunflower fields kept distracting me.

When I returned hubby went for his run and I took the kids out on their bikes to do a bit of further exploration of the area. When we returned to the parc we checked out the skate park where Olivia tried out some daredevil stunts. One crash and a lucky escape later we returned to our mobile home to get ready for the swimming pool.

The pool area is great with lots of variety for everyone but the slides are the biggest attraction. Boring Mummy was the only one who didn't venture onto the slides today but I'm sure that will change as the week progresses!
Later on we had a game of mini-golf which is free. It's probably one of the nicest and well maintained courses we've ever played on and is situated near the lake under the shade of the trees which is fab as it's been 30 degrees today. I sometimes joke that hubby takes the game of mini-golf too seriously but I have to admit that he's taught the kids well and I now have to concentrate more on my game!

After a lovely home cooked dinner, courtesy of hubby, on the terrace we had a wander down to the lake and beach for a little walk. It really is a very pretty setting. There is also an adventure high ropes course but unfortunately our two are too small as you have to be over 1.35m. Olivia has asked if we can return when they're bigger which we may well do as this is by far the best parc that we have stayed on. The pitches are large and fairly private, the layout of the parc is attractive and the accommodation is great. We wish we could stay for longer!
