Back to London

A group of us met for a nice roast dinner pub lunch, then five of us walked along the old city walls of York before we started our return journey back to London. I was still absolutely exhausted so I slept on and off in the car. We had some food from Waitrose sat outside in a motorway services and got back around 8pm.

I stayed with a friend who works at Gatwick and offered to drive me in time for my flight the next morning.
