On Our Own

It's an amazing feeling to be the only hiker in a National Park, but that's what happened when I made the circuit around Jordan Pond this morning.  Al was biking on the carriage trails, and I breathed in every minute of my hike to remember on a rainy day in the future.
After 18 miles for Al and 4 for me, we met at the car and decided we needed one more trip up Cadillac Mountain.   We hiked at the top to a perfect spot for a self-timed picture....so here we are, tired and very happy in the Maine sunshine!
