Pause for thought

The world turns
and I?
Well I am helpless
to assist the weak,
the homeless,
the downtrodden,
the undervalued.
The axis of my world
is in the same place
as that of those
who have nothing.


I wrote about this juxtaposition this morning on my blog

I am constantly amazed by what I don't know. Sometimes it all seems rather hopeless doesn't it. Then I look at a loved ones face or I reach out, and I find some kind of context.

It's not easy though is it. I thought about not blipping this - particularly on a let your hair down Friday - but I felt you would rather me share my soul than not......
