Tennis is wonderfully gladiatorial though in the modern game every shot feels so measured that some of the angst is missing. For me that's why Murray was so poor yesterday.

I do so love the old tennis clubs. Something quite raw & precious about them. Queens in particular has so much that is antiquated, hence it's charm & allure.

Bring on Wimbledon!
