Day 9 - Budapest

Day started off really well, got these beautiful ice creams from 'gelato rosa', the flavours on this are mango, strawberry and elderflower and watermelon, sooo nice! The sun was baking hot but we headed over to the buda side and down to a 'labyrinth' made from caves, supposedly where Dracula was held prisoner. It was soooo nice at first because as you walked down the steps it got cooler and cooler. It went downhill after that coz there was one part that was literally a pitch black maze and there was no one else around.. No staff or anything and we were actually a bit terrified.
Headed back towards our hostel and got some dinner from a street food place. Then to the train station for our 14 hour night train to Croatia! Train was absolutely baking when we got on, and we were sharing a small cabin with 3 other people. There was no air con either so I made a last minute dash off the train to grab more cold water, made it back in time thank god!
