A Royal Visitor

The steam railway hosted a Royal visitor over the weekend when Queen Victoria Arrived at Havenstreet station accompanied by her entourage.

The Victorian weekend is now a regular feature on the calendar with people in period costume visiting from all parts of the UK to join the local enactors the Victorian Strollers.
 Many visitors especially children arrive dressed for the occasion with entertainers and music and dancing of the era taking the railway back in time to a gentler age.
