The Second Mushroom Expedition

Being an adventurous explorer, I was very excited when mum said Let's head out to the mushroom forest! After all the raining, and now fairly warm weather, the chances are good. She said. Of finding yellow chanterelles.

We started through some rough terrain, where I had to be carried part of the way. Mum said If we find mushrooms here, there will be plenty in our regular spots. And we did find some! Then on to our ordinary trail, were I can jump happily through the bilberry sprigs and eat as many berries as I like. I even did a happy racing, but was immediately called back. Fresh wild boar dig sites and droppings were just ahead! Whoa! Loads of exciting nose work everywhere. I could be a very good chanterelle dog...

In the end, it was a very successful expedition. I was exhausted-happy, mum found lots of mushrooms and we had a bit of an adventure.
