Levante Beach, Benidorm

The Summer Season is in full swing.....with many people working very hard to make sure that the holiday makers on the beach, have a safe and secure holiday......
We are all aware of the terrible beach tragedy in Tunisia ......there is no obvious increase in beach security in Benidorm.....but we know that off shore patrols are vigilant ....
The beach patrols, on foot and on all terrain bicycles, are looking after the sunbathers, swimmers and their children!......a lost child on a busy beach is every parents' worst nightmare.
The life guards patrol the water's edge, are on their high observation chairs, and also on the offshore swimming platforms......we see the guards practising their life saving routines every week.....these chaps also man the ambulances which are parked, ready when needed, adjacent to the beach every day.

Late at night and very early in the mornings, the cleaning teams work their way along the whole length of the beaches.....
Security, safety and cleanliness.....essentials to ensure we all have a great ' beach experience' on the Mediterranean.
