Capturing the sky

I have been off work for a week mostly puttering around and getting caught up on sleep but also felt the urge to get out of Edinburgh...it's the time of year! My friend and I decided to go down to Northumberland for a couple of days and stay the night outside of Alnmouth on the coast. We made our way across the border in quite a leisurely fashion stopping a couple of times on the way down and ended up at our planned destination, Alnwick gardens. The weather this week has been terrible, that is if you rate it against what the weather should be like in July so it we were delighted when the sun came out as we made our way around the gardens. This photo is of one of the water features in the garden but I've included a few extra photos as I had a hard time deciding on one image.
