Green Dragon Watering Hole !

The Green Dragon , is a 17th century pub in Chesterton. I often go in for morning coffee or to sit in the riverside garden and watch the wildlife. It has had some treacherously infamous customers in the past. Joachim von Ribbentrop, Nazi Germany's Ambassador, also Guy Burgess, the traitor and spy who defected to the Soviet Union the day after meeting Donald McClean, also a traitor and spy, in the pub. They used the pub in the 1930's and were members of Cambridge University. Nowadays, it is a nice relaxing place for a family meal or evening drink.
