Columbine

After yesterdays white Pink, a Columbine that is not blue. Aquilegia grahamii, found only in Uintah Co, Utah. There are several species from the US which have this very distinctive colour combination. Some have been used in breeding programmes to produce striking herbaceous plants but I prefer the delicate beauty of the wild species.
Just a few inches high, in Utah it grows on rock faces, a hanging garden!
