Where's my lunch?
We have had a lot of blue tits on the feeders in our garden this year, and several times this week I have been pleased to see that at least one of them has successfully reared a chick and is teaching it how to fend for itself.
The fledging can feed itself, but most of the time it just perches on the top of the feeding pole, mouth wide open, and waits for Mum to deliver the goods. I was pleased with this shot I got of mother and fledgling today.
The rather psychedelic background by the way is the washing line :-)
