Yorkshire National Park

Left Scotland this morning and drove down to Swaledale to stay the night with friends. We took a smaller road, the A68 which gave us much better views of little villages and the beautiful countryside. Quite a few farmers were out making the best of a summers day (there have been too few of them for farmers this year in this part of the world) and l loved the rows of hay all laid out ready to be baled up.
By 4 it was pouring with rain.
