New Street

In spite of ending up in Badenoch and Strathspey, there was still time to grab a shot before heading up the A9.

Although it was a slightly later than scheduled departure, it was as much the heavy traffic going north that changed our plans from Cairngorm plus Beinn Mheadhoin to a couple that I can't even remember their names at the back of Newtonmore....!

In spite of a soaking in the first hour, it turned out OK and a roaring fire late into the night more than made up for a hideous bog trot pretty much all the way round.

An interesting use of colours on this one; lime green, sludgy green, grey and royal blue with flecks of yellow thrown on for detail. Done last week (it appeared between Tuesday morning and Friday night), it sits proudly at the end of East Market Street in full view.

My trenchfoot and midge bites are much better thank you for asking.
