... and sunny intervals

After the interest in yesterday's shot of the back side of Pultney Bridge, if you will pardon the expression), here is a shot of the same bridge from the street side.  As you can see, the road is bordered by small retail units.  They look considerably more decorative from the front.  This also gave me the chance to try out the new circular polarising filter that arrived at the end of  last week. I hope you like the end result.  

My extra is a shot of a new butterfly to me, a sliver studded blue.  I found him busy on the lavender today, he's quite a bit smaller than most of the butterflies that we have, but absolutely lovely I think you will agree?
