Roam free

While Mr C recuperated from his bug I had a walk with friends who live in a row of mining cottages out in the country. As we left for our walk, I spotted this sign. Unusually, it was the cyclists who needed to take care today though - as I drove up the hill on my way there, on the single track road, several cyclists hurtled down towards me, appearing from round the corner on the wrong side. Luckily there was enough space for me on the verge without driving the car into the ditch to avoid them. It could have been nasty.

We had a lovely walk - 15 degrees today so Pete wore shorts. We mostly discussed the forthcoming leadership election and the repercussions of the result.
