Beach trip

Eventually headed off today to Oban after extracting surly teenagers from their beds!

Travelled via Glen Coe as I like that road and we ate our picnic in Glen Coe. Cloud cover was low-ish at some points on road hiding some of the mountain tops.

When we arrived in Oban had a few hours on the sand at Ganavan before walking the cycle route to Dunbeg and back again...a wee stretch for the Weimaraner's legs!

Rounded off the day with fish n chips washed down with Irn Bru a perfect tea for such a day out:-)

Love this pic of the wee boy on the sand in his t-shirt, trousers rolled up and bare feet and in the background tourists from furth of these shores all wrapped up for the Scottish summertime :-). Some of us even had our shorts on today...we don't need much of an invitation when the big fiery ball in the sky appears:-)
